check your manual, but you shouldn't need to put anything higher than 87 in there. Anything more would be a waste, really.

My .02, though.

Most of us didn't get manuals. I figured it's a pretty high compression engine so I put in 89-91.

I only run race fuel. After adding those Nos decals, the guy at the speed shop to run race fuel

Just kidding. I'm ussualy pumpin 91 into it. But, as to the manual, never saw one. So, if someone has one, please post and tell me i've been wasting my money on gas![:'(]

i run 93 in my f2. it might be overkill but i just figured with the high comression of a motorcycle motor it couldnt hurt.
and besides it is not like your filling up an SUV its only a few gallons so i really dont worry about the extra cost that much.[ul]

you can also find that the bike itself says nothing less than 91 on the spec sticker cover by the left rear fairing

i use 93 in my f1. i figure the carbs could use the extra heat to clean them out a bit. although i have heard hondas are not made for higher octanes, i dont know if that was just for newer bikes. have not had a problem with the 93 though. i will check my manual.
