I just bought my 929 erion a couple days ago, It came with a full two bro's exhaust. I want to get a powercommander, but how do I connect it? How do I tune it and all that stuff. Should I just take it to the shop and have them do it, or is it plug and play. I have a little bit of bike knowledge like replacing my own clutch plates, and oil changes and stuff. How technical is it to put on a power commander?

 

It is plug n play if you have a map for it, but it is best to get a custom map. Go to PC.com and find a shop that tunes around you and take it there. To connect it lift up the gas tank and find the main injector harness and disconnect it. Plug the male connector from the pcIII into the female injector harneess and vice versa. best place to mount it is under the rear seat. When you put the gas tank back down make sure that the pcIII lines are not pinched.
