RE: Power Commander ???
well I'm guessing it is an aftermarket exhaust and I'm assuming it has a custom map and your not wanting to pay to have it retuned but all the things you stated are possibilities and you may not even notice any change in performance at all.
I don't think that it will cause your bike to fail on you and you can always ride it afterward and if it feels worse than before you can play with a map from the web site until you get it fixed but a lot of stunter cut down their pipes. that might a place to ask how their bikes ran after they cut them!

RE: Power Commander ???
im not the powercommander expert but i guess it depends on which version of the pc3 you have whether its serial port or usb!
i dont know for sure but i dont think you can use the wideband unless its the usb version
if you go to the powercommander web site it tells you how to load the maps yourself(and no im not being a smart a$$) thats were i learned how to do everything with mine from the tutorials.
if it would be worth? well thats really up to you. you can put a powercommander on a stock bike with no mods and its suppose to improve the overal rideabilty of the bike.
i dont know of anyone that has bought one and thought it was a waste of money though.

RE: Power Commander ???
ok I got a new one but it is still powercommander related so no new tread from me yet.
my question is that the original powercommanders for the 929 didn't use to have the ignition feature then the made the pc3r and problem solved right?
ok now with the new pc3usb's they have this expanion port for all kind of other add-ons that are only compatable with the usb verion.
one of which is the pc3 ignition module, so does this mean that the pc3usb's don't offer the ignition feature as do the pc3r serial port version and that its going to cost me an extra 3 hundred bucks for the module plus 50 bucks or so for the expanion connector thing?
and if I'm right why would powercommander do that other than to make more money off us, nevermind I just answered that question. lol
