Default Outer clutch basket loose nut behind the ratchet?

I recently purchased one of factory pro’s stars and shift arms for my 2001 929. I looked around on the floor I’m a little bit saw what it takes to install it and everything seemed pretty straightforward and well within my capabilities. Yesterday I started the install and got everything apart put in the new star and shift arm no problems, at the point of installing the outer basket I ran into the problem of the primary and some gears not lining up opened up my service manual and right there was my solution no big deal. I slide the basket on I notice that the shift star isn’t sitting quite flush, I popped the basket back off I straighten the star out I go to put the basket back on and for the life of me no matter what I do I’ve been trying for two days I can’t get those two gears to line up again I had the basket all the way on and I had verified that the basket was seated on the notches for the oil pump and it was all tight and it was all good I was putting the clutch back together so I know that it was on there all the way hundred percent and now all of a sudden it just will not line up I have gone so far is to take everything back out and try putting it all back in I even put the crank case cover back on and filled it up with the oil drop the oil thinking maybe that a little lubricant on the two gears might helpI’ve tried holding the gear and turning the road or not I’ve tried putting some thing for leverage in the outer basket and trying to rotate the gear while holding the main gear and using the outer basket to rotate the sub gear nothing is getting this thing to budge the gears are moving together and I cannot get them to move independent of each other it’s like they’re welded together all of a sudden any help or suggestions would be appreciated

I also pulled out the bluffs hoping maybe lessening the compression would somehow magically help tried tapping on the gears with a rubber mallet very carefully I’m down to my last idea which was asking the bike very very politely if you could please let me get this installed that also didn’t seem to get me anywhere oddly enough

There’s the star and the arm installed

Main and sub gears Refusing to lineup

That would be the original place that I started attempting to rotate the gear into alignment I’ve tried several different places now that I can’t get it done and that is the screwdriver I started with again tried several different sizes and shapes angles but that’s my basic set up that worked the first time I did this five minutes before complete failure when it works just to give you an idea of what exactly I’m working with him doing so if I’m doing something wrong please point it out correct m

If anybody needs any other pictures angles you know information to help them to help me please let me know Thank you in advance for any and all help it’s greatly appreciated
