Melting stater wires
So I love my CBR, but!, I keep having problems with the stator wires melting. I actually had to replace my engine due to a spark plug mishap, and the new engine that I put in it is now having stater problems as well. In the old engine replaced 4 stators before I realized that the previous owner had put a lithium battery in the bike, and it was causing the stators to burn out. Put a regular battery and problem solve, seemingly. Now that bike has an entirely new engine in it I wouldn’t think I would have the same problems with the stater burning wires out. So I’m gathering that this is a common problem with this model of bike specifically. Are there any permanent Solutions that anyone can suggest? Thanks in advance

yes, the reg./rectifier is new.
another thing is that it seems to be random or intermittent. I just put a volt meter on it and it’s charging fine. Whereas, a few hours ago, it was cutting out while riding it.
i didn’t do anything except start it to check the voltage. I allowed it to reach a temperature of 227 (as hot as I’ve ever seen it get.
and it worked fine.

Did you replace them at the same time? One can damage the other. I prefer to do the stator and r/r together so the system is as sound as it can be. I doubt that your low draw lights are causing an issue. I've never heard of lithium batteries causing issues, but it makes sense that it could with the different charging rates and such. The only other thing I would suggest is to check your grounds, especially the other side of the battery cable.
