ok the story goes like this a guy a know has a 929 with chrome wheel and he wanted to go with powder caoted wheels ? But i traded my stock wheels with no tire and 50 bucks for his chrome one's with ok tires they need to be cleaned "crackhead deal" so i got about two hours of cleanind and an hour of paint what do you think

yeah but i have always wanted chrome rims on my bikes,see how long that last when i have to keep them and my frame and sub frame clean i just need to find a swing arm done or get mine done ?

 

search ebay n CL, I like the look of chrome when its clean. But riding the mountains regularly they wouldnt stay clean lol. I have brushed lips on my wheels, and the sub n frame are brushed. Thats shiney enough for me. I had a VW baja bug with a fully chrome/polished/SS engine, so that burnt me out on mothers'ing shyt every other day lol. Long as you like it tho its all good.

 

Brushed is about it for me too, and if it's not clean forget it. I don't know why they ever used cast aluminum, either. I mean, I do, but why not finish it? Fugly...

 

if you guys dont want to clean the shinny parts of your bike again, use a epoxy clear coating. im a painter so i was using it on a job and came with the idea of use it on the chrome of my bike and i never had to clean it again only when dirty.

 

Chrome is for Hot Rods,Too much Maintainence for me.But hey more power to ya....
