I have a good idea... why don't we all just hold hands and sing songs! lol. I agree with Y2K929RR tho, without serious money and with both riders knowing how to ride, You can't win without serious expensive mods.

Yes dumbass, I do. Just because I own a 929 doesn't mean I think it can beat every bike out there. Unfaithful? Why? Because I told the truth? Is your little ego too bruised to accept the fact that you are no match for your freinds R-1?

929s are by far my favorite bike, always have been. However, they are not the fastest horse in the barn, and they are not a match for an R-1 without some sort of power adder or expensive mods.

A WET nitrous kit sprays both additional fuel and nitrous into the intake thru the nozzles. A DRY nitrous kit sprays just nitrous into the intake.

Wet vs. Dry

I am a new member and came across this post. I have an 01 929RR with a two bros. s/o, K&N, and sprocket -2 +1. A good buddy of mine has an 03 R1 with everything stock except the yoshi pipe. I have absolutely no problem keeping up with him, we are both pretty experienced riders. His does feel slightly more powerful but its not enough to really pull away from me. Hope this helps!

Off the line, I definately am ahead, by the time I get to 3rd gear he's caught up, we haven't really had much of a chance to go all out yet, but once we do I'll let you know

That is in line with what I said before, with gears you can pull away out of the hole, but then the R-1 catches up and goes past. You haven't gone past 3rd gear, and the other guy who started this thread is going from a roll, so he is in higher gears. The top end is where we lose it to te R-1.
