I recently crashed my bike, I broke the kill switch in the crash so I never tried to start it. I bought a kill switch assembly for it and tried to start it, it will crank over but the fuel pump will not prime or run. I have checked the tip over sensor and it will kick my power commander off when i turn it over to its side so I'm assuming its working, Any help is greatly appreciated.... Thanks in advance

 

I think I may have figured it out tonight. I croosed over the fuel cut out relay and got the fuel pump to kick on. Anyone with any dealings with this please let me know if im gonna waste my money buying a fuel cut out relay, in my mind that has to be the problem....

 

all i can say is be careful when diagnosing this problem. i had a similiar experience with mine. after a small crash, the fuel pump would not run, i checked everything, finally i noticed that if you grounded the tank(other than through the harness) it would arc to the frame and run. it ultimately has cost me hundreds, and still no fix. i have found that the problem stems from a lack of ground connection in the main harness/front harness connection. apparently several 929's have this problem. just be careful and make sure you are sure!
