fuel pump delay

sometimes if i leave the fuel pump switch on when i go to start the bike it wont come on. i have to cycle the switch for it to come on. any of you guys seen that on your 929s?

well i checked the switch . the contacts inside the switch are gumed up

Havent had that problem, but gimmed up switch contacts make sense.
