Default FLAPPER Valve issue

I just started reading about this MOD and i've searched my 01 929 and cant seem to find this hoes that needs to be removed and plugged.
I see people posting pics for 1000RR's not havent seen any clear steps for the 929
Can Someone HELP me please... I just want to remove that tube and plug - people are saying it leaves the Flapper open.

Just use 2 zip tie's and you don't even have to remove anything.

Ok now when lifting the tank do i need to disconnect any tubes connected to tank? I lifted the tank today but saw tubes getting tight as i continued to lift so i just left it alone, dont need gas everywhere?

Not necessary to unplug any hoses from the tank. Try to be careful because they will have some tension on them when you tilt the tank. Hook bunge cords through the two front tank bolt holes, and then hook them to the two franken stein bolts located on the tail. This will hold the tank at a 65 degree angle which will allow you to remove the air box. Don't forget to unplug the Air Intake Temp sensor harness (2 philip head screws) in order to completly remove the air box cover.
