Flapper Valve Mod - Help!!!

Flapper Valve Mod - Help!!!
Having read the "simple" flapper valve mod on this and the rogueracing website I have just tried to remove the hose from the diaphragm valve as per the instructions.
The tube was on damn tight and while loosening it there was a crack and the entire diaphragm valve assembly seems to have come clear of its mountings.
Can anybody tell me if I have broken anything, how the valve attaches to the back of the intake assembly or even how I re-attach the diaphragm valve to the back of the intake - I have the manual but it is not that clear as to how it's done.
Help - I now have a loose diaphragm - who knows what may happen!!!!!!!!!
Thanks
Roger

RE: Flapper Valve Mod - Help!!!
Thanks Anubis!!
After much wailing and gnashing of teeth and a full lower and middle fairing removal I finally got the tube free and have now relocated the diaphragm valve.
For those planning to do it - the valve itself is held in place by 2 sprung "tabs" on the back of the unit (very similar to a car radiator cap) and locates in 2 cut-outs on the air inlet and simply rotates 90 degrees into position.
It's actually a fairly loose fit even after re-shaping the tabs on the D. unit so I have replaced mine and spot-tacked it with a glue gun just to stop it working itself loose - I think the actual vacuum tube which attaches to it (the one you take off) probably does most of the job of holding it secure when it is in place.
thanks for your help - again!!!!
