H-vix valve and air box flapper

RE: H-vix valve and air box flapper
I ended up with a slight flat spot just off of idle, and the idle got a little rough. I still have to reprogram the power commander to take care of that, which will be a pain, have to go and set up an appt to put it on the dyno. Other than that I haven't noticed any performance gains at all.

RE: H-vix valve and air box flapper
Yhea I've removed the Flapper asembly, cables, and installed a BMC race filter. I'm still thinking about removing the snorkels though?? I also removed the exhaust valve and replaced it with a Hass type eliminator that I made at work. Still gotta cut the Micron pipe down about 6in. And the PC IIIr should be here tomarrow according to UPS. I'll let you know when I get her fired up. Still searching for a decent map, may go with a tweeked version of the 110-005 map on dynojets web site till spring. Oh yhea forgot about the PAIR block-offs. Did them too.

Check out this site directly from Honda. This confirms the reasoning for the flapper and HTEV are environmental for noise reduction.
