FI and red light

my bike is flashing a code 11 on start up. anyone have an answer to what it is? Does it have anything to do with my speedo not working 3/4 of the time for the last few weeks?

From: New Jersey

1 - Loose or poor contact on vehicle speed
sensor connector.
2 - Open or short circuit in vehicle speed sensor
connector.
3 - Faulty vehicle speed sensor

Those are the causes of having 11 blinks or Code 11.
So yes they have to do with the speedo not working.
