Default Few basic questions

I just bought a 2000 CBR929RR.. It has 19K miles. I changed the oil, cleaned and lubed the chain, and now I want to replace the airfilter. I was looking at a K&N, but after a google search I found a few people with mixed feelings..

anyone using one, and have any input?

Thanks

Stay with stock filter. You will not gain anything with the K&N but the ability to clean and re-use the filter.

I use K&N but there is no real HP gain like backdoc said. they just last forever
