Bike has a year old gas in it and I ran it
Now it bogs down low in the rpms. The gas was ethanol-free and I put sta-bil in it before it sat.
I ran all the old gas out of it and put fresh gas in it but it still stutters down low. It runs great after 3k rpm.
I know I should have drained the old gas out of it first but 'Doh.
What should I do? I want to sell this bike because I just don't ride it. However, it's gonna be a hard sell with it bogging.
Anyone experienced this?
BTW it's a '00 929.

+1 on the seafoam. after a bike has sat for a while and gas has gone bad, i drain the fuel and only refill with 1 gallon of fresh gas and add seafoam in a concentrated mix. Then start the bike or at least spin it over until you know the seafoam mix gets thru to all the injectors/carbs . then try and let this heavy mix sit in these parts for a few days (if possible). the seafoam will eat away most of the junk that set up in these parts. After a few days , run bike . Top off with fresh fuel. GL
