Hi, I have a 2001 cbr 929rr that i purchased 400 miles ago
(1 week ago). Anyway...it died on me a few times while riding it.
I look down and i remember the red light coming on when it dies. I hold the clutch in, and hit the ignition, and it will start right back up and keep going. I checked the battery terminals to make sure they had a good connection, and i found that the ground wire was loose. I'm not sure if that was the problem,
but if not any
ideas for me?

If you notice when they key is on and you switch the engine kill switch to run, the red light comes on momentarily. Since you saw it when the engine died, that tells me something in the kill switch circuit is shorting, just like you flipped the switch to off and then back on really fast (only a loose wire or bad switch is doing it for you) If this happens a lot you can splice the wires to the run setting and see if it behaves properly, then you will know the switch is bad.
