929 Heat

Im still getting used to her, but it seems that she doesnt like going slow at all... a little time stopped at the lights or even slow driving between cars at a traffic jam, and the fans start working.
They kick on at about 102ēC
And though they do ease the temp back a bit before turning off, unless I get some wind rushing the components, It'll creep back up very quickly.
Also, yesterday I did a fair bit of riding, including Highway, lots of speed, lots of wind so she didnt heat up much during the ride, and then parked at my fav cafe for a while, in the nighttime, it was a cool night, didnt even take my jacket off. When I went back to it, the Engine Frame was still ridiculously hot... now, I dont mean like ooh, thats nice, I mean: ****, burnt myself!
When I turned the key, I saw that the temp was still at 88ēC but this was like after one hour or so...
I remember the YZF600R heated up too, but nothing like this...
Is this normal?
Is there anything I should look at to make sure there isnt a hidden problem somewhere there?
Also, I was parked next to a 2006 R1 (My friend's) and we noticed, there are no air intakes apart from the wheel/radiator area.
Has anyone made any modifications addressing this, so that the cooling is more effective? (then again, at speed it is...)

I have only had my bike for two weeks, but while I am riding around, the temp stays at about 180-190 F, if I stop it will climb after maybe 10 or 20 seconds. As long as the fan kicks in and keeps it in the temp range specified by the owner's manual, I wouldn't worry about it.
Is it hot in Portugal? It has been about 65-80 F here.

Had a small revelation... the only other bike I've had, had an Aluminium Frame, which is great at dissipating heat, where as this 929 is a steel (I think) frame which is great at conservating heat.
