929 Fork Seals
Guys I am wondering if I should try to do these fork seals on my 929 myself or if I should pay my buddy to do it. My buddy said he would do it for $150 with the forks on the bike but if I took them off it would be $75. Tell me what you think. thanks!

Its been my experience that you can't chg seals while still on the bike, (not to sure bout 8929's) but to chag don't you have to seperate the two sections. Iv done it a few times on my xr285r and I'm sure its the same principal. You can do the oil chg not the seals
150 is a good deal, and 75 is even better if u know how to take em off.. ive got a bike that needs the same thing done but based on my readings, u need special tools to disassemble the forks properly.. if u've already got those tools then id definitely do it but id make sure that buddy of urs will be willing to pick up where u left off in case u run into a snag..
if u decide to do them let me know how it turns out, and what special tools were needed or used..
