What set up should I get for my 00 929rr. Any places that sell the whole kit for a good price. And what gearing should I get? SHould I keep stock 16/43 set up? Anybody ever gone to 16/40 for better top end and lower rpms on the highway?

i run stock sprockets right now and i wouldnt go down in the rear for more top end. 16/43 gives you 170+mph, 70mph at a comfy rpm in 6th.. Try out the stockers or go -1/+2 a lot of people run that setup on the 929. I use a 530

 

I'm currently running 530 but have talked to quite a few people who said 525 is enough. stock gearing is perfect for go fast. you may just go -1 for the hole shot. right now I'm -1 +4 and it's pretty buzzy at 75 mph
