i have the same problem with 2nd gear popping out into nuetral,i would like to do the labor myslef also anyone have any more info on doing this would be great.Tim

 

i also have the same problem with 2nd gear, info on replacing the shift fork would appreciated. i would like to try it myself.

 

im having this problem on my 600rr, it sounds like the repair costs are more than i will spend so it leaves it to a winter project. but will this type of thing be covered in a honda service book?

anyone had anything else to say or advice before jumping into this?

 

slipping back into N.....that happened to my friend's gixxer..costed him 1,100 to replace all gears. hope u didnt mess up with gears

 

well i'll be doing all the work myself. half the ppl-kids who work at dealers know less than me anyways. god gave us winter to make a bike tear down easy, cause you couldnt drive it if it worked right :-p
