20A fuse near the battery keeps blowing

Default 20A fuse near the battery keeps blowing

hi i have a cbr929 which i use for trackdays i came off it on track when i got it home i repaired the mounting bracket for the seat subframe then tried to start it up seemed like the battery was a bit flat so i tried jump starting it,since trying to jump start it the inline fuse on the red and white wire near the battery blows as soon as i turn the ignition on if i disconnect the black and whit wire tha goes from the engine stop relayto the ecm the fuse doesnt blow anyone got any ideas of what the problem could be thanks steve

You have a wire thats grounding out somewhere. Start with checking around what you just did for a pinched wire.

check the Voltage regulator, unplug that, look at connectors, my guess is one is burnt, if not, unplug, put a new fuse in and try it anyway, see what happens

Like 74Demon said, you have some wires grounding out somewhere. Probably dealing with your head lamp or your turn signals.

So I have the same problem with my 20 amp fuse but I noticed that when it pops and it makes my fuel pump not prime when it pops what do I do??????
