I don't recommend riding around with track slicks at all but the 180 will allow the bike to turn in fast than the 190 due to its profile. Other than that you really won't notice much.

+1..........you will crash on slicks on the street. Dont be dumb.....leave them off. They require a HUGE amount of heat to work properly and you will never acheive that on the street even riding as hard as you dare on the street. If it's gets even a little damp..........you're done.
Will a 180 fit? Yup..........will you crash doing **** like that? Sure as hell you will.

Simply put...........slicks are not DOT approved for a reason...........dont. If you do......please video tape the ride so we can all watch.

Be alright for what? Racing on? Sure they would be. Maybe you should get some take off rain tires and run those around too.

Sheeze.

180 is fine = faster turn in

do it .. enjoy it .. learn from it .. then, in later years, mark it up as one of the really dumb things you did :-)
my question, aside fom the obvious, is where did the slicks come from? you do know that race tires have
a short and rough life? that they "go off"?

lots o' luck

LMAO!! Ah......some days I get a kick out of this.

Yup.......they go "off" and don't come back. They have very few heat cycles in them before they simply dont stick anymore. I would guess a good one to be around 4 cycles before it's toast and wont stick to anything anymore. Just a thought for you to ponder before you take off on them.

To take it a little further, there was a recent article in UK Bike mag about grip.

One of the questions was: Is it true that race tyres don't get hot enough to grip on the road?

Answer: Absolutely. They have an operating temperature of 60-85C, which you will not get up to.
Even if you did, they'd go cold at the first set of lights. That tyre will not perform unless it's up to
temperature. You'll get more grip from a road tyre, doing what it's designed to do"

-Gary Hartshorne, Bridgestone UK

Good call on sticking with the road tires .. ;-)
