Default 1000 throttle body on 929

I was wandering if anyone here has any idea on how easy it would be or if its even possible to swap the tb's off a 1000 to a 929. I remember few months back while scrolling the pages somewhere an article that someone had about doing it, but for the life of me I cant find it anymore and was hoping that Im not going crazy. Im doing a full build on my 29, but deciding what route to go. anyone have any ideas or thought be much appreciated.

some thoughts - don't....

you can't run a 929 ecu (1krr TPS is different - and you couldn't run the dual injectors) then you run into a bunch of other problems
you can't run the airbox from a 1000rr, it won't fit, 929 airbox won't fit on the TBs
you have to switch fuel pumps (but the 1krr doesn't fit easily in to the 929 tank)

you can read my fighter thread about it.... i am doing it, but i'm also using microsquirt ECU, building my own air intake plenum, cutting and modifying the tank, etc.

if you want your bike to appear stock, it would be much harder than mine. if i were you, i'd just use 954 TBs and call it a day

I got a friend that did it...had to do some custom fitting. if you are just talking throttle bodies & velocity stacks. you'll have to customize parts from both your 929 airbox and some from the 1000 airbox.

Not sure it would be worth all of the hassle. 954rr throttle bodies and injectors drop in easy enough though.
