The 2006 throttle body will fit on your 2005. Same part number (Part 9 on Throttle Body Schematic): 16401-MEE-A01. hondaparts-direct.com is selling them for $523.99 and if you can get ahold of a service manual they're not too hard to get to and replace.

oh yea.... welcome.

Thanks volcomrr.
Are you sue that the 2006 fit on the 2005, because mi mechanic told me to buy only for 2005, that the other years changed.
On ebay there's 2006 pretty cheap.
What my throttle have wrong is a sensor that come attached and i understand it doesn't come by it self.
I don't knoe the sensor part umber but i can tell you that is the one that have to do with giving the info to the computer about how much gas release when the bike is going a slow speed.
I hope i make my self understandable.
For me 650 + labor (i do hace to change my tires too) is too much, and i really need my bike, i drive it every day.
Is the only transportation i have.
Thanks for your help.

well.... look on the parts list for yourself, same part #, so idk, seems like the same part to me! ask your dealer about it.... you cant buy the sensor by itself because its not a sensor that screws onto the part, its manufactured into the throttle body.... its prob. one of the few sensors that cant be bought separate. If it makes you sleep better at night go with the 05 throttle body....

heres what you should do, ask your dealer what the part # is for the 05 throttle body, cruize over to hondaparts-direct.com and look at the schematics and see if the part number matches the 05 listed and then see if it matches the 06 listed, that should tell you something. Ill call my honda dealership when it opens in an hour and ask for myself.
