Wheelie
Well. the smoothest way I've found is this. Accel hard in first gear and when you hit around 5k dip your clutch while you keep the throttle in place. It'll only work if youre under hard accel. To me, thats the most controlled but I don't do tricks. Stunters would have a lot more to say. Start small and practice lots, remember to let the bike do the work.
Wheelies come with time, and heavy fines so find a parkin lot cops cant do anything on private property unless called, hell you can dire tanked on private property (criminal justice class) and if you have trouble rev it to about 10grand and dump the clutch something is bound to happen.... (that was a joke)
Oh damn that was a joke! I just did it...
NOT
Seriously, i liek the idea of 5k and dipping the clutch to pop it up, then will work up from there. And i cant find the stunting area? Is there one? I found race/track...

At 5K give the throttle a snap and direct your weight back by straightening your arms and putting your shoulders back. If your bike is totally stock then you might consider changing your sprocket ratio. I run -1 down up front and +2 out back and it takes concentration and focus on my part to KEEP the frnt tire on the ground. Just take it slow and really skip all the clutch work because if you have never done that kind of wheelie start your going to really take some serious miles off your clutches life. These bikes have ample power to power wheelie, you just need to takes some weight off the front end. Don't even think about pracicing this stuff on public roads, I've seen too many guys crash when they were learning to wheelie and luckily they were all in parking lots.
Dont forget to cover your rear brake. And try to avoid chopping the throttle when the front gets to high. You can pop a fork seal if it slams hard. Start small. get bigge gradually. Get the front up, get it to where you want it, and back off the throttle a bit, and then get back on it (helps get the bike to the balance point). As the wheel comes down, keep applying throttle to ease the front down.
not only the fork seals. watch out for the head race bearings as well. if you have the origonal round ball type you can crack the casing they are in. typival prob from wheelies. i changed mine to conical type with more surface area from all ***** racing. much stronger and less likely to give out.
Its not hard to get up in 1st at all, just start off like you normally would give a little more gas till 4-5k rpm feather the clutch and the tire should pop then just roll the throttle back, here's a video of me doing a 1st gear wheelie, notice how slow Im going to start with and listen to the sound of the motor, I just feather the clutch under load and the rest is all gas, youll hear the motor is not revving very high when I start off and you can actually go pretty damn quick in first gear. , Oh, and before you start trying to get all crazy on us read this thread just so you know how wrong this topic can go... Well help you, just dont get all stupid on us and in the community. https://cbrforum.com/m_459060/tm.htm
