I know the oil filter stud for the filter side is 20mmx1.5, BUUUUT what is it on the block side? I ask because I'm interested in using the oil cooler on a different machine/engine and it has 20mmx1.5 threads in the block and I grabbed a honda oil cooler and stud off a honda CAR and the block side threads on the stud are different than the filter side threads.

If they threads are 20mmx1.5 then I will be ordering a parts based on this information, so please do be 100% if you post up on the thread size. Thanks in advance for any assistance. I have looked for hours on this and can not find this information anywhere. It is either not out there or my searching skills have greatly diminished with time.

 

Maybe someone has one of these laying around? If you do and you have a filter laying around as well, could you try threading both ends of the oil filter stud in to the oil filter? The oil filter is M20x1.5 that fits this, so if the other end of the oil filter stud threads in to the oil filter too then it is also M20x1.5.

If someone can take the time to do this, it would be of HUGE help to me. Thanks.
