Default Throttle position sensor voltage 1999 Cbr900rrx question?

Hi I have had the carbs off the bike (99 rrx) uk version and they have been rebuilt and ultrasonically cleaned. Unfortunately I didn’t mark the throttle position sensor when I took it off. I replaced it and when I am doing the voltage reading my wide open throttle gives a lower voltage reading than the fully closed position… I have checked the little black cross piece that sits between the carb body and the tps and everything I read on the forums it should be the other way round? Ie higher voltage at wot….Am I missing something obvious!? I have followed all the manuals and the cbr1100 link on another post but I can’t seem to get it right! Thanks in advance

Only way this can happen is wires are switched in connector.
