Red face A test of loyalty

You are standing in a parking lot on a Saturday night, with your full leather suit on and your gleaming, CBR Fireblade at your side.

A guy suddenly walks up to you with a wad of bills in his hand and tells you he wants to buy your bike...right here...right NOW....and all you have to do is name your price.

How much would it take for you and your Fireblade to part ways?

*For myself, honestly...nothing less than $10,000. That's how much I value my baby.

I believe everything has a price! I gotta say 10k would definatley buy me a new ride,(used, but new to me) with some money to personalize it! But who would gimme 10 k for mine when they probably find the same bike for AT LEAST half the price if they shopped around. I would want to be in front of a bank so i can verify all the cash is real. lol
MT Wallet, i get it! LOL! it took me a minute!

yeah, i'd take anything above market value. everything's replaceable. but i'd start at a million and make him talk me down from there.

Great replies people! One million sounds like a good starting point!

And yes, DunnRR-- it is a funny name but it's also sorta true

Also, if someone wants my bike they must have cold, hard cash

I'd agree with anything above market value (depending on the amount of your mods). I did have someone offer me about $500 more than I paid for mine, he just screamed squid, and I figured if I sold it to him, I'd see it on the news a few hours later next to his mangled body.

Hmmm.....great question! There is no way in Hell that I would take market value for my bike. Even though I can understand others not willing to pay more, it simply is worth way more than that to me. For those reasons, I'm sure I will never sell it.

Anything's replaceable - I'd check the bills were genuine first though - I'm a pessimist !

Great replies people!

Yes, it would really have to be a LOT of money for me to even consider selling her.

I mean, some things you just cannot put a value on...especially something that's becoming harder to find each year.

Scutfargas, your bike is showroom quality!
