Hey everyone,

I had a small bounce and then a slider on the left side of my bike cbr900rr 97. After replacing the dynamo cover and my clutch handle I thought i was ready to go.

Now when i start my bike i get a strange rattling sound, kinda sounds like something is loose inside the bike, but i cant place it..

Does anybody has an idea what this could be?

I can't watch the video at work. Which side laid down? If it's right, check the cam chain tensioner.

 

On such a question, I would consult my mechanic's stethoscope.
For just a couple dollars, I more than got my money's worth and have used it on machines, computers, and around the house (plumbing and heating).

 

Def would check the tensioner. that is what it sounds like to me. chain slap. could've even jumped off the tensioner.

check it out and let us know if that was it.
