Starting problem
I have a 93 cbr 900 that doesnt want to turn over in the cold. I live in LA, so it starts fine when its warm and sunny out, but when I try and turn it on in the morning when I go to school, its like 50 or 60 degrees out, I always have to push start the bike. It will turn over a few times and then act like the battery is dead. The battery is only a couple months old. I was thinking maybe changing the spark plugs, or maybe my rectifier is going out. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated since just replacing parts can get expensive quickly.

just cause the battery's only a couple months old doesn't mean it's not bad already, that's what pro-rated warranties are for. what kind of battery is it? First thing I would do is take the seat off and test the voltage between battery terminals with the bike running at 5k rpm, shuold be around 14v, if that checks out, then take your battery in to an auto parts store to get tested. Batteries are weakest when cold so symptoms sound like the battery. Does the bike sit for long periods of time? If it sits for more than 2 weeks it should be on a battery tender
