Default sprocket set ups

Hey all, I looked at my sprockets this morning, it appears the previous owner dropped one tooth on the rear as they are 16/42. am i right in thinking that this will improve top speed? it still has more than enuff accereleration for me, being jus shy of 10 stone as in the front end lifts while im accelerating hard, but not using all the power on tap.

Improve top end while losing some acceleration. Go to the Gearing Commander website and see how different gear combinations affect things.

I went up 2 on the rear, 16/45 and it pulls harder and affected top end very little & my buddy went down 1 in the front 15/43 and it will out pull my RR in 6th gear just barely FD ratio on mine is 2.81 and his is 2.87, Search Jt sprockets and they have a gear calculator as well
