Sprocket and chain?
I bought my bike last year, its a 1993 900RR and it needs a new rear sprocket so i got a good used 43t (stock?) sprocket thinking the one on the bike was stock , well the sprocket on the bike has 46t and looks bigger in diameter also wider teeth unless that do to wear . so do i have to get another chain for the stock sprocket ? or can i buy this 46t sproket somewhere?

You can put however many teeth you like on your bike. It is totally personal preference. The 43 tooth sprocket is stock. Do you know which size pitch your chain is? 520? 525? 530? etc... 530 is stock, but it could have been changed, especially since the original sprocket has been already changed.
You will need the sprocket to fit the chain. It is usually good practice to replace your chain and sprockets all at the same time. Of course, nothing is set in stone and you can just replace only what is needed.
