I'm still on my original chain and sprockets at 19,000 miles so I can't recommend any certain brands.

I also have a SpeedoHealer. Use a mobile GPS and compare its speed with what your bike display says. Go to the SpeedoHealer website, input those values and it will tell you what numbers to enter to make your speedometer read the same as the GPS.

I went with DID X ring chian, thats what I normally have on other bikes and they never let me down.
In theory on motorbike normally its the chain that get stretch and they wear out sprocket; so if you go for a good chain then it doesn't matter too much if you have alloy sprocket or steel ones it will last just as long (I mean like proper ones like renthal hard anodised not cheese)

I stick to DID x-ring chains, either Renthal or AFAM for sprockets.

I use DID or RK chains. X-ring ones are great but pricey.

Whatever you get, keep it adjusted, clean, and lubed for best results.

I bought a parts unlimited chain and sprocket set online a couple weeks ago. I had to adjust the chain every 200 miles for the first 600 miles and now at 1k on the new chain it seems to be past the initial stretching and is working just fine.

My next chain I plan on going with a DID chain and Vortex sprockets though. This chain seems to be working fine but finding master links for it after i cracked two of them was a PITA.

What is odd about my current chain is it always seems to be in spec for the last 1000 miles. I have yet to adjust this since I did change my tire about 1000 miles ago. I do want to drop a tooth from the front and add 2 to the rear is why I am asking about the speedohealer. Did anyone convert to a 520 chain or keep the 525?

It's not odd to not have to adjust the chain for 1k miles. It's been longer than that on mine and it still doesn't need adjustment. When I replaced my original chain I got an RK chain and sprocket kit, I think Honda used RK and DID as the OEM chains on these bikes. I stuck with the 525 chain when I did mine. I don't think RK has a -1 +2 kit though for 520 or 525.

I've used Driven sprockets and RK and EK chains. Been happy so far.
