I would check to ensure that your meter is connected to the right pins on the connector. It should not be possible to have 4.7v at the Pink/Green wire with the ignition in the OFF position. The speed sensor has 3 wires. Black/Brown is supply, Green/Brown is frame ground, and Ping/Green is the signal output from that sensor. If the key/ignition switch is in the off position, then there is no power to any of the fuses, one of which provides power to the speed sensor. Also, you should rotate the wheel really slowly in order to see the change from 5v to 0v.

If you have an gear indicator I would check the connectors of the speedsensor to the ECU.
The gearindicator I have, has crappy connectors. With some attention and some WD40 the connectors mine started working again.

  • I definitely have 4.7v in the pink/green wire with the ignition on or off I’ve checked it a dozen times and even check it at the sensor connection and definitely 4.7v there.

yeah I do it’s not giving me clues though I’ve checked the ignition and the rectifier.
there is no power through the pink/green wire when the clocks are disconnected.
