Speedo
hi my speedo is not working I’ve tried the sensor and different clocks.
there is 12 v going to the sensor and 5 v at the clock.
the wiring has been checked and all connections cleared.
I would appreciate some help with this as I’m stuck with it .

OK Scotty601,

You say that you have 12v at the sensor and 5v at the clock. Can you describe in as much detail (reasonably) as you can on how you are taking that measurement?

On the back of the combination meter (your gauge cluster), when measuring from the Black/Red wire and the Green/Black wire you should see a fluctuation from 0v dc to 5v dc while you are rotating the rear wheel (with it off the ground naturally).

Regards,

It sounds like you've pretty much eliminated any possible issue with the speed sensor. May need to start looking at ebay.
