thinking of doing motor swap. tell me yes or know. would it work and would i have to chop up my frame to make it work? do not care about wiring and all that i can figure it out later on down the road just need these 2 questions answered please.
frame is from 1998 cbr 900rr

 

Yes you can do it and yes you will have to modify your frame and fabricate mounts to make it work.

you will have to make the brackets cause i dont think they are readily available for such a swap

 

What of the air box space, and access to things like spark plugs and fairing placemen? Other things like foot pegs and such should not be too much of a problem since the two bikes are of the same size?
