Default Rear wheel assembly help

Hey guys. I took my wheel off to get a new tire mounted and replace the chain/sprockets. When I took the axle out, a washer fell. I'm 99.9% (no exaggerating) sure that it came off from where it is in the picture. I just posted it to the photo gallery (the title of the image is washer). I'm learning about posting pix. Sorry. Anyway, it's the washer that is in between the caliper and the hub bearing. I have a haynes manual, but it doesn't show any washer on either side. I just bought the bike a few weeks ago. Its off a 99 900rr. Thanks a lot.

To the questiion, the key point there is that the brake disc is riding directly in the center of the brake caliper and not skewed off to one side or the other.

If that's the case and you chain is running true (inline with the sprockets on the other side) then your fine.

Yeah it is. Thanks. You know I'm trying to post decent sized pics right in my post , but it says we can only post 19kb images as one of the rules in the forum. Thats tiny! That's why I put it in the gallery. Like I said I'm learning. I would have asked about posting images first , but I wanted to get this issue resolved. thanks again.

Best method to post pics is to host the pics yourself, like imageshack or the like.

Then take the direct link to the pic and place it between img tags.

"[img][/img]" <----- do not use the quotes.

Then you can post pics any size altho something like 800X600 max would be suggested.
