I am in the process of purchasing a 96 900rr from a buddy of mine. It only has 2300 miles on it. Never been down (except being tipped over in a parking lot). I think $4000 is a fair price considering the like new shape it's in. My buddy is a very cautious person and has certainly never pushed this bike to anywhere near it's limits.

I recently sold a 98 Buell Cyclone and have spent a lot of time on my buddy's 07 GSXR 600. I was curious if anyone was familiar with either of those bikes and could maybe give a comparison as far as handling, acceleration, etc. is concerned.

Also, at 5'6" tall would I want to lower this bike? If so, how much? How difficult? and how badly will the handling be affected?
