Hello all,
I have been through a nightmare..Someone please help me!!! I was told that the F2 & F3 are interchangable, I went through the auction and finally got the front ferring and left and right cowls (maintence cover), I was told they would fit, I get them and THEY DONT FIT..When I called Honda with the part numbers they said they were for a F2...I now have half a bike painted, and need these pieces along with the front forks. Can anyne help me?

Some of the plastics are interchangeable from f2 to f3, but not the 97-98 f3's. They have different styling than the previous years. What year plastics did you get???

 

The front fairings(plastics) on the f2 are different then the f3's and the 97-98 f3's rear plastics are different then the 96 f3 the f2 front shocks will work on the f3 but you will have to use an f2 front fender my best advise would be ebay...brand new front replacments are running around 175 plus s&h I just bought a used one for 120 ebay is your best bet unless you find someone on here selling them
