Do you have a shop manual? It states what the ohms is suppose to be.

I thoughtthe PGwas bad on mine, but I was using cheap spark plugs, switched to iridiums and problem was resolved. Alot cheaper than buying a new PG.

Manic,

Pulling my hair out with this one.
Manual states 460-580 ohms, mines in reading 160ohms.
Bike wont fire up at all no spark at no 1 plug and took it that all plugs would be the same (no spark) so went for the PG. £50 from local dealer.
Reading what you and other guys say, I'll rebuild the bike, start with new plugs and some fresh petrol and start from there.

Is the other coil firing or at least getting signal? It could be reading that low because it's not getting enough power.

Let me think about this for a little bit.
