SWEET! That is the one! Let me know if you ever run across one of those Sportbike magazines for sale.

Thanks jzanutto, but that is the Cycle World mag, which I have. Check out the screenshot of the magazine cover I posted on page 2 of this thread. That is the one I am looking for.

Peace!

Thumbs up

Cool trip down memory lane guys!
I found my old Sportriders, with the '94RR vs Acura NSX,the shootout against the ZX9,Yami,GSXR....along with a few others.
I think my favorite mag add has to be...."and it came to pass.........everything"

Great stuff!!! I love reading old articles about famous bikes.

On a side note...I was reading up on the original GSXR1100, the liter bike that was "King" until the Fireblade came along and stole it's thunder.

Seems that Suzuki had a habit of adding more weight with each new model year until that bike was around 500 lbs!

Then Suzuki pared down the weight drastically with the modern GSXR-1000's....but if you look at the weight of each successive model year, Suzuki has fallen back on their old habits.

The weight of their top literbike has steadily gotten heavier and heavier. Just like in the old days!
