Arrow OEM Fuel Tank for '98 900RR?

I realize this is most likely an exercise in overly optimistic futility, but does anyone have a line on somewhere I can get a replacement OEM fuel tank for my '98 900RR?

For extra difficulty and/or bonus points, not only does it have to be OEM (and new), it also needs to be in the Pearl Yellow paint scheme.

I know that these parts have been End-of-Life for several years now and that they aren't made anymore, but I'm holding out hope that someone somewhere has a box stashed away in a garage, an attic, or basement that contains that fuel tank.

Or maybe someone working somewhere for Honda or a Honda dealership has a stash of old parts that they never got around to disposing of.

Or something equally (im)plausible. I don't care. I'd just like a new tank for my 23 year-old bike, if that's at all possible.

Thanks!

@mwk900rr Wow, talk about a big ask! Go big or go home right!. LOL. I'd say that is a pretty implausible ask, but I certainly wish you the best of luck. I'm curios though, have you given it much thought as to how much you are willing to pay for such a rare item? I mean that OEM tanks were crazy expensive back when they were available. How much do you think something like that would be worth today? Any thoughts or predictions?

There are a couple out on eBay. But they are not the color of your choice. But find the tank is the hard part. Getting it painted is the easy part.

I get the feeling from the post that he's looking for Brand New, or what I refer to as NOS, New Old Stock. I think it's a great ask, and hope he finds it. But at what cost? New (when available) they were right about $850.

Arrow Definitely looking for NOS

Yeah -- IDoDIrt is correct about me looking for NOS. I figure it'll be north of $900-$1000+, but it'll be worth it if I can find it.

@mwk900rr If it were me, I'd be focusing on finding these items as they are more likely to be found. Paint can be purchased from ColorRight. Then it's just a matter of getting a tank in good condition. But, that's just me.
