anyone have the rubber pieces for the 900rr fuel tank??

 

I got replacements from my local stealership. $5 per rubber...

 

yea i'm trying to avoid the dealership. the price is outrageous for what you're buying. but i have a feeling thats where i'll end up finding myself.....

 

The other option would be to go to a hardware store and find a block of soft rubber 1 incher by 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch, and cutting a slit 1/4 of the way into it. A little double sided sticky tape and you have some bumpers for a bout a buck!

 

Just go to an auto parts dealer and get the rubber ( Black or crome )that peoples put on door edges cars or truck. Install it along the edges of your gas tank on each side.
It is cheep and your tank will have a better support on the frame.
The result is a nice clean look.
