Nitrous kit?

RE: Nitrous kit?
THANK YOU! Another rider who shops for parts on Summit Racing! I'M NOT ALONE! You should have seen my custom shorty exhaust built from Summit parts. Sort of like the new R6's exhaust, but I did it before the Yammy engineers did it.
Oh, and another thing I'm thankful for is someone who is finally going to nitrous their bike. It's what I was going to do and probably should have done before I started this whole turbo project (almost done, by the way).
Back on topic. NEX-60005 is what you'll need. In case that link doesn't work, it's the Nitrous Express 60005. Wet, direct port, 4 nozzles. Mount it below the carbs, and you're good to go. Either tap into the rubber mounts (not the idea I was going to go for) or drill & tap the carb sync holes and put the nozzles there (this was my plan). Don't run a dry kit, don't run a fogger in the air box. Get the wet d/p kit. 60005, and you should be good to go. About two years ago I found someone who was running a 60 shot on their 900RR, so apparently it'll take that without breaking. When I was shopping around for a kit, the particular kit in question (60005) was cheapest on Summit. I found other places wanting $900 for the same exact kit, part number and everything. Holley's Nitrous Oxide Systems ("NAWWWWS!") offers a comparable kit, but it's more expensive. Probably because it's Holley and all their stuff is expensive, and because NOS ("NAWWWS!!) is a household ricer name now.
Good luck, please buy it, and let us know how it goes. Should be a pretty straight forward install.
