With boredome comes a little success. It looks like I might be able to get my full Ti system off of my 06 Gsxr 1000 to work Heres a few shots of a stock header, mid pipe and muffler off of who know what. It is so close with this setup, that I will try with my Suzuki's atermarket system tomorrow.

Well, It worked! Fit was great, I am going to have to chop a couple inches of the down tubes, but that is it. It clears the oil filter and there is plenty of room to the radiator.

Hmmm, I dont know. Maybe I shouldnt say and I know your not done but...... from what I'm seeing, I dont think I'd be happy with that fittment.

Based on what it looks like "I'd" want to do to have it fit the way I'd like, I'd almost rather start from scratch altho welding Ti is not really a picnic.

I'd also state I'm kinda OCD about some things.

This was only a test fitment though, The exhaust is getting the down tubes cut and rewelded, after measuring, and remeasuring, everything will fit right up, hugging the motor.

Maybe you were thinking I was going to leave it as is, but if you look at the rest of the bike, every inch of it has been built with attention to detail, right down to the color of the axle blocks, and the gold hub on the rear wheel.

It will be, when done, a much better performing, and looking exhaust than what I have now. Just give me a little time.

I gotcha. Mostly tho, I was thinking that it was going to be alot of work to get it right. Maybe a different donor pipe might be an easier starting point.

I've got a Micron 954 header I was thinking of toying around with myself. It's already splayed around the oil filter and prelim head pipe measurements indicate it hugging the motor quite tightly already. If I manage to get around to fitting it I'll shoot you some pics for reference.

I thought the same thing, thats why I started with a stock 954 header, but this one of of my 1000, just needs a trim and a tuck. Plus it being a quality Ti sytem is what I was after from the start, its just a shame nobody makes them for the 900. I have already found a "works" Yoshimura exhaust for my Suzuki, so this one would have just been shelved either way.

Well let us know, I am pretty sure it will work, the stock 954 header I tried almost fit perfectly, and I guess a aftermarket header would of been much better, but I am working with what I have, and I still havent found a Ti 929/954 header or system for sale.

Keep me updated please.
