I've been wanting to post a build thread, but haven't had the time until now, please have a little patience with me, I have had this bike since new, so it's going to be a few pictures to get it up to date.....


This is what it looked like new, not my bike, but exactly like this,

 

Then, in 94, living in LA, it was more of a make it shiny and hang out in Hollywood bike.

 

Stayed that way until 99 when I started going to the track regularly, hereit already has an 92 Gsxr 750 front end and PM wheels.

 

A few more years and a new set of bodywork and paint are done.

 

Then, retirement to my office for a few years,

 

Then in 2009, it was time for the latest rebuild, it all started with a complete tear down. Powdercoated everything and all new bearings were bought.

 

Then the new motor had to be built,

Falicon Super crank
Carillo rods
JE +2mm high comp pistons
Erion cams
R&D transmission
port, polish, 5 angle valve job
39mm Keihin FCR carbs
Vance and Hines power Pak

 

Suspension was next, I sourced some Yoshimura triple clamps,

 

Next was suspension, Ohlins forks and a Penske triple clicker shock and Yoshimura rearsets,

 

Next was brakes, I bought an AP Racing master cylinder, Brembo Monoblock calipers with Titanium pistons and EBC 310mm rotors and Vesrah RJL pads,
