You need to do something man... This bike lacks power and speed. Change the engine altogether!!
Lol J/K man. Welcome and you won't regretwith your rr. She really has alot of power inside her. For all these3 years I'm having this bike, I never manage to tap her till max and I can say I'm a hard rider.
A jet kit, KN filter and exhaust. Thats all I did and I'm very happy with the outcome.
Seriously, you should try to customize on your riding first. You had been riding a cruiser all this while and its totally a different thing altogether. Oh yes, what about your gears man??
