oh well hopefully some new pics up with the new exhaust

I agree, I pulled the core out of my yosh exhaust at drag night just for the hell of it and it seemed to pull a lot harder on the top end of the rpm spectrum
And it sounds great too. I took mine down to the midpipe so I could shiny up the swingarm started it up to to hear it. I'm no mechanic but the difference in backpressure has to be bad after a while, or is it?
I've heard it will cause permenant damage by not running an exhaust pipe from several sources however, I used to run my race car with open headers at the track all the time. I realize there is a difference between 6500RPM and 13,000RPM but still.....it didnt hurt that at all and in fact helped. Perhaps bikes are more sensative to back pressure. Even with just the headers there is SOME back pressure.
ok here it is as far as i know. cars need backpressure or they will overrevv and essentially "suck all of the internalls out" but for bikes its diff. they dont need that backpressure all they need is the air to be warm enough so that if it sucks back in to the exhaust valves it wont warp them and here in fl it was 80+ that night. so yea short period of time cool long period of time ur askin for trouble but it did sound BADASS
