I got the pictures, thank you very much! I put in a few hours today, completely bled the front breaks because the lever was spongy, redid my fairing stay and some other things. Now i have another question, at idle it seems to run fine, but when i give it a sharp throttle role it bogs and dies. If i put my hand on top of both outside carbs nothing happens and there is very little if any suction. if i cover either of the middle two there is alot of suction and it dies. I measured the headers on each cylinder about 6 inches from the head and 1 and 4 are both 130 ish degrees while 2-3 and 260-280 or higher.

sounds like it running rich/lean. I'm still new to these carbed bad boys.
Hopefully JasonC will chime in a give a few words of wisdom. First he'll say is SEAFOAM..LOL
I'll bet your carbs are dirty as hell. I would sync the carbs also after a good seafoam bath in gas tank.

I'd check your plugs. If covering the carbs don't do anything at all, then either the carbs aren't functioning at all or there's no fire.
But I do agree, your carbs will need to be cleaned. I'd remove them and do it right. It's shorter in the long run, IMHO

VINMAN knows me all too well..
And of course he's right, I would run seafoam through the tank @ full strenth, if the bike will idol on its own..
The problem is these bikes were never designed to burn bananas in our fuel..
And after even just a short few months some of these newer fuels will start jelling up..
Just remember it's a honda and my experience so far always sees these problems resolved by properly cleaning the carbs and running fresh fuel and the reason I mention it's a honda, the motor is most likely in perfect condition.. I would also check the vacuum nipples under the carbs, where you would hook up a carburetor synchronize tool..
On one of my used blades I found after-market Copper tubes most likely from motion-pro, anyway one of the rubber caps was missing and totally screwed with the idol. That was a frustrating lesson..
But stay with the carbs , on another bike I own ,it literally took three cleaning sessions to finally get them running perfect and I'm not someone who's new to the game.. I actually have an ultra sonic bath when they're really bad..and allot of patience. Just sort everything out you have right now before trying to add anything new into the equation..pipes, jets etc..and every good mechanic will swear by seafoam including Vin
You should keep posting pics and make this your official build thread..even though only a few of us are talking, there are many people who follow these threads, some for enjoyment and others for cheap education. If there's any difference let us know..

Job and new daily driver are both great! My Audi is still in 1 million pieces and on the furthest back burner right now! The bike i coming along great! I got the radiator fan working today, it comes on at exactly 212 degrees on my display! Runs like a champ, i cleaned the hell out of the carbs which i didn't think it was because it ran fine a few weeks ago. After full disassembly and a ton of on the spot learning, i got them cleaned and figured out how they worked at the same time. They actually weren't gummed up one bit. all 4 passages flowed equal and even appeared to flow the same as the extra set of carbs that came with the bike, and by flow i mean spraying carb clean through them. i pulled just plugs 1 and 4 because the measured out to be my problem cylinders via temp and cleaned them with break clean and snad paper because they only have 30 mins on them. After that it runs great now! I had two videos but after uploading to photobucket idk where they went too. I appreciate everyones help big time!
