good luck on restore.. I picked up a 98 900rr for 800. was wrecked. Restored it for 1200. Got 2k in it now. Looks good...Be aware that those ebay plastics from china look good, but they dont really fit too well. Cheap plastic material, paint is ok. I just got mine in. Box was destroyed but no damage to plastics. Replaced tank and rear frame and alot of tlc and it looks pretty good. I'll post pic later. If you need wiring diagrams let me know I got color ones. Im doing good, re wired the whole front end of it including the swapped instruments. Gauges) ----/----/----/----/----(source. Not sure why 1 wire wasnt good enough but instead it took anywhere from 2-5 wires to do what 1 could have. Last time i was at the shop i was cleaning all the grease off the frame and swing arm, etc. Running over how they wired the turn signals. There is only leds in the back, thats all. The were always lit up and flash on off on when activated, I found some wires in the harness that were twisted together and cut those, the turns now function properly. I still havent ordered any stays because my Audi TT took a **** on me to i had to hurry buy a new car because i got a new job, but once i get solid with this job i should have more than enough money to rebuild this or just buy a brand spankin new one! But i love how low the insurance is on this. 1 Last question for now.

Here on this side it looked like there was just a hardware bolt stuck in the motor mount. I replaced it with a bolt the same as the top one. Does the top bolt look correct? I got a box full of LOTS of bolts.

And on the right side the motor mount bolt is broke off in the block. Is it safe? There is 2-3 bolts on the other side and a trans bolt on this side. I tried to jack the motor up to drill it out and couldnt get it to budge to drill it out.

looking for the bolt that goes here

And pictures of someones bike, how this is put together here, and if there is a bushing in the stay and tank or just one of the other?

And if anyone recognizes this. I have the flat not sloped one that i think came with the bike, but it doesnt fit the forks on it. these are bigger.

Default thanks

I got 4 rubbers a bolt and nut ordered! Looking at how yours is set up, the only thing running over top is the throttle cables, no wires? Where do they go? Under the frame? Everything on mine is ran over the top, that would explain why the steering hits it.
